N. Korea Agrees to Expanded Food Aid, Allows U.N. to Monitor Use

TOKYO, June 30 -- North Korea has agreed to a major expansion of international food aid inside the closed totalitarian country, while promising to give United Nations monitors more access than ever before to find out who is eating the free food, a senior U.N. official said Monday.
